Bio | here is the deepest secret nobody knows;; Hey, and welcome to my journal. I'm Maia, although in some fandoms I go by Winna, or Tinuviel. I skate, run, and play soccer and tennis; I love reading, writing, and traveling. I'm 22, a history major and an unashamed mythology geek. I have a tendency to obsess over fandoms that I'm probably too old for. There are lots of fandoms I'm into, and they fluctuate, but the constant ones that I've had forever are Harry Potter, Lost, the Gemma Doyle trilogy, The Tudors, and Lord of the Rings. The newer ones are The Vampire Diaries and FlashForward, and the ones I'm still marginally invested in are Grey's Anatomy, Robin Hood, and Tamora Pierce. There are probably a few I'm forgetting. I write fanfiction and make icons. And I am the Miss McCleethy of the Gemma Doyle series (see missdoyle.Like I said, I'm very interested in history, and I will talk about about certain eras or historical figures or artwork waaay too long if you get me started. I adore music as well, though I have a very eclectic list of favorite artists. I've always been a huge sports fan, I played soccer and tennis both in high school and college, and I've been told I have a huge talent for ultimate as well. I still play in my free time, and I also run daily and work out. Traveling is my passion in life, I've been to a lot of countries and more than anything, I love taking in different cultures.
